As part of the Management of Animal Collections module, we will be visiting Colchester Zoo, one of the UK’s leading zoological collections for animal welfare and conservation. This trip has been organised for students to collect information for their module assessment where students will be photographing and appraising an enclosure of their choice. There will be an educational session provided by the zoo alongside free time for students to locate and view their chosen enclosure. Please bring packed lunches or spending money for use in the zoo food outlets, along with suitable outdoor clothing. Owing to the return time of the trip, students will be required to arrange their own transport back from Plumpton College following the trip.
