Wheat to BreadDescriptionIn the baking world there is nothing more fulfilling than making bread from wheat that is locally grown! Taking place in our NEW AgriFood Centre here at Plumpton College, with state-of-the-art purpose-built kitchens, our core belief is the Sustainability of all food starts in the field where our food is grown. On this full day we will look at the benefits of using freshly milled flour, the advantages of knowing where your wheat is grown, the health benefits and how to make bread from the flour. We will also look at the benefits of Heritage grains and how to use them in your everyday baking Whether it is sweet or savoury.
